A private 1:1 to close it out
When someone says they visited your site, do you immediately want to apologize for it?
You know it’s not right. The words feel generic, or stale, or just… not yours. But carving out time to fix it never wins against everything else. And when it does, it’s hard to know where to start.
Roll up your sleeves—
we’re about to crush this.
Hi! I’m April
I’m a StoryBrand Certified Guide and spent years on their staff, leading the Guide Certification Program and co-hosting the Marketing Made Simple podcast with Dr. JJ Peterson.
… and I’m Angie!
I was part of the first class of StoryBrand-certified copywriters and have been writing websites for over a decade.
Together, we offer group coaching.
Three Fridays to get you from staring at the page to filling it up.

“This helped give me clarity about where I want the website to go. I didn’t really know what I wanted before, and now I have clear ideas to make it more concise, more personal, and less overwhelming.”
– Rebekah
Here’s exactly what we’ll do.

FRIDAY #1
StoryBrand Soundbites
We start with the story. April walks you through StoryBrand's PEACE Framework to surface the five short Soundbites that anchor your whole message—the things you should be saying over and over, in every conversation and every channel. Your homepage will be built on these.

FRIDAY #2
Homepage Mapping
Our second session starts with a review of your Soundbites homework. Then Angie takes you through a homepage section by section, with hundreds of StoryBrand websites' worth of lessons in her back pocket: what works, what doesn't, and how to write one that sounds like you.

FRIDAY #3
Wrap, Review, and Q&O
Our third session starts with a review of your homepage work—what's clicking and what's still stuck. Then we take a flyover of the other pages your site likely needs and what to consider when writing each. We close with Q&O (questions & opinions), so nothing's left unclear.

Bonus
1:1 Session with Angie
After the third Friday, you're invited to book a no-cost, private, 30-minute session with Angie to solidify your next steps: referrals if you want help bringing your site to life, or helpful resources if you want to do it all yourself. Either way, leave knowing your next move according to your budget.

You may still be wondering…
Who is this for?
Small business owners whose work is better than their website. You may have read Building a StoryBrand—or never heard of it. You may have a draft homepage you abandoned six months ago—or a site that's been the same since 2002. Either way, you're ready to fix it, and you want to do it alongside other people doing the same.
What if I've never done StoryBrand before?
You don't need to have read the book or taken a course. April will walk you through everything you need on Friday #1—the framework, the language, the way it actually works in practice. By the end of session one, you'll have a working draft of your StoryBrand Soundbites and a solid understanding of how to use them. No pre-work required.
What if I'm a StoryBrand pro—will this be too basic?
Not if you've been struggling to apply it to your own business. We meet a lot of business owners who've read the book twice, written a BrandScript or three, and still can't seem to get it onto their actual site. This is the bridge between knowing the framework and using it well.
What if I work in healthcare but I'm not a provider?
You're welcome to join! The healthcare cohort is designed around healthcare in the broad sense, so if you serve, support, or work alongside private-practice providers, the work will translate.
What happens if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded, so you can catch up on what you missed before the next Friday. That said, the magic of this program is in the room (the peer feedback, the working time, the real-time questions), so we encourage you to protect those three Friday mornings if you can.
Will I have a finished homepage by the end?
That depends on how much homework you do between sessions. Most people leave with sections finished and the rest mapped out. Either way, you'll know exactly what your homepage should say and where it should go—so when you do sit down to write, you're not staring at a blank page. You're filling in a structure you understand.
What happens in the 1:1?
After the three Fridays wrap, you book a private 30 minutes with Angie to talk through your specific next steps. Whether that's getting unstuck on a section, talking through what to outsource and what to DIY, or just getting a second set of eyes on what you've written—the call is yours to use however you need it.
Can I bring a business partner or team member?
Yes. You're welcome to bring one person who is working on the same business. One of you participates in the sessions (shares with the group, gets feedback, does the working time), and the other can sit in, listen, and learn alongside you.
What if I need more help after the program?
You'll have options for most budgets and goals. Angie is a copywriter taking on new clients, and we have referrals for designers, developers, and ongoing support. We'll talk through what's right for you in the 1:1.
Will there be more cohorts with different themes?
We hope so! Email Angie at angie@angieschultz.com and tell us what theme you'd love to see.
Wait... who are April and Angie?
We're two StoryBrand veterans who've been doing this for over a decade each.
April has been a StoryBrand Certified Guide since the early days. She went on to join StoryBrand's staff in 2017 as a workshop facilitator, eventually leading their Marketing Guide Certification Program. For four years, she co-hosted the Marketing Made Simple podcast with Dr. JJ Peterson (a StoryBrand production), where she helped thousands of business owners get unstuck on their messaging. She's a teacher at heart—and after a decade inside StoryBrand, she knows exactly where people get tripped up and how to walk them through it.
Angie was in the first cohort of StoryBrand Certified Copywriters and has spent the last decade writing websites for small business owners across dozens of industries. She's known for taking the chaos in a business owner's head—sticky notes, scattered drafts, "I don't know how to say this"—and turning it into clear, working copy.
April teaches you the framework; Angie shows you how to write inside it.
Together, we built this program because we keep seeing the same thing: smart business owners who love StoryBrand and still can't get it onto their own site. We're here to fix that.
